Here is today’s COMMENT FROM AN OLD FART: As this post is written, the authorities are searching for the suspect(s) who were involved in the Boston Marathon Bombing We, as a society are reluctant to call it what it is-a case of pure EVIL. For those who want to celebrate diversity or respect cultural competency or don’t want to make judgments because we believe there is a level of cultural equivalency, moi says you are morons. Just as every race, cultural, religion, creed, and family may have individuals who are for lack of a better description, batshit crazy, this goes beyond crazy, it is EVIL.
According to the Free Dictionary.com definition, EVIL is:

EVIL is an ideology, a way of life. Just because folk use the umbrella of a more benign philosophy to shield them from criticism for their dastardly deeds doesn’t mean the clear thinking and rational folk can’t point out that it is not a benign philosophy which caused the murder and the mayhem, it is the FREE WILL CHOICE of individuals propelled by EVIL impulses. The abortion bombers were no more representing Christianity than a non-believer. They used the umbrella of the Christian name to attempt to shield themselves from criticism. It is interesting that the most successful social movements are led by those who espoused Non-Violent Protest
So, for those wimps who are afraid to call out EVIL and terrorism because they are afraid of hurting some one’s self esteem, your stupidity will get a lot more people killed. We need be united in removing the umbrella from those who seek to shield themselves from the discovery that they are EVIL. EVIL knows no race, color, creed, religion, class, gender, or sexual orientation. EVIL simply seeks destruction for whatever twisted pleasure is derived.

This is an essential point!
The left is so obsessed with the concept of equality, both fiscally, as shown in their efforts to give away other people’s money to ‘spread the wealth around a little’ and culturally, by promoting multiculturalism and banishing any talk of which they disapprove to such a great extent, that there is no reality remaining in their words.
Celebrating various cultures is fine and in fact is fantastic; we all benefit from immigrants for example bringing skills, knowledge and expertise. On the lighter side, we also get to enjoy yummy food and experience the intricacies of various cultures; that is multiculturalism in my view.
Leftists, however, overdo it by presuming that all cultures are equal. Anyone with half a brain can observe facts and acknowledge that various cultures and the individuals within them are different and behave differently based on what that culture values and expects from its members.
Yet, when we witness different outcomes in statistics such as health outcomes, educational attainment and job prospects, the left automatically claims racism as the culprit. They would never stop to evaluate the evidence that perhaps culture plays a significant role here. Emphasis of certain cultural values such as respect for education, hard work and thrift that have elevated certain minority ethnic groups such as the Koreans or the Jews in this country to the top in most of these indicators and lack of these values surely results in less than successful outcomes.
This sort of evidence and evaluation throws a wrench in the left’s grinding wheel of spin and they don’t quite know how to address it! They don’t really care if the facts support their assumptions and positions, as long as they appear to do so and as long as followers do not deviate away from the holy narrative.
